# Token Usage

*Every message sent to Rosie or any Legend uses one token from your weekly allowance. This applies across the entire AI Hub - your token pool is shared between both experiences. Limits reset every week and can be tracked in Settings.*

* Free: 35 messages/week
* Starter: 200 messages/week
* Pro: 350 messages/week
* Elite: 500 messages/week

Elite subscribers can connect their own OpenAI API key for unlimited messages. When using your own key, all costs are charged directly to your OpenAI account - <mark style="color:$danger;">**we never store your key**</mark>. We use a secure token with an optional expiry date for enhanced security.

For security, we never store your API key directly. Instead, we generate a secure token from your key - giving you the option to set an expiry date so your access is always in your control.
