# Account Connections

GameSync AI integrates with Xbox, Steam, and Twitch to build a comprehensive picture of your gaming journey. More platform connections are on the roadmap. You can revoke access to any connected account at any time.

When you first link an account, data may take up to several hours to fully sync due to rate limits set by external APIs. You can use the platform normally while this happens in the background.

### **Microsoft (Xbox)**

Connect your Microsoft account to import your game data, achievements, and playtime. Go to the Social Logins tab in your profile settings and click "Login with Microsoft." After signing in and accepting read-only permissions, you'll be redirected back to GameSync to begin your data download.

Make sure your Xbox profile visibility is set to public for optimal data retrieval.

### **Steam**

Go to the Games & Connections tab and enter your Steam ID (25 characters), found in your Steam profile or profile URL.

Your Steam profile privacy must be set to Public for GameSync to retrieve your data.

**Required permission:**

* Account Visibility

**Optional permissions:**

* Time Played
* View Game List
* View Activity Log

Any disabled optional permissions will be shown as a lock icon on your GameSync profile, indicating that data is not available.

Disclaimer: To maintain fairness in platform events and leaderboards, account ownership verification may occasionally be required. This may involve submitting screenshots or making a temporary bio change. We will never ask for your password or direct you to log in on another website.

**Twitch**

Connect your Twitch account to enable the Streamer tab on your GameSync Profile. Once linked, your stream highlights, clips, and schedule will be visible to the GameSync community. Your Twitch connection also allows you to "Go Live" to be discovered by other users on GameSync.&#x20;
